Rules and Conditions
Office Hours are from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Check In and Check Out
Check In is at 3:00 pm
Check Out is at 10 am. Late checkouts maybe requested and may incur an
additional charge.
Deposits
For summer reservations we require a deposit of
$100 to $200. If we have to refund the deposit due to cancellation there
is a $25 fee. This is not to line our pockets
but fees that we are charged by our transaction processor.
Cancellation Policy
For the summer months we require 45 days notice.
If we can rent the cottage we will refund your deposit less the $25 cancellation
fee.
During the winter we require at least 2 weeks notice unless there is no snow.
Visitors
Both Martin and I want everyone to have a good time but we would appreciate it if you would send your guests home by 10:00 pm. Some of our guests have young children so any outside activities are discouraged after this time.
Parking
There is one reserved parking space for every cottage. If you have more than vehicle please park it/them diagonally in the visitors parking facing the road to the right as you drive in. Parking is at a premium so try and park close to each other. Watch for the tubs of plants....
Smokers
We supply painted cans full of sand all over the property. Please do not butt your cigarettes anywhere but in a proper ashtray or the cans provided. If you cannot find one please come to the office and we'll find you one.
Pets
Please do not allow your pets to run around
without supervision. If you need bags to clean up after your pets we have
copious quantities in the office. Please do not tie your pets to the trees
near the flower gardens; the picnic tables will be fine.
Please do not leave your pets alone in the cottage for long periods of time.
Dishes
All of our Cottages are efficiency units, please do not leave dirty dishes. If you really don't get around to them leave the staff a healthy tip; doing dishes is not part of their job.
Keeping Our Country Green
We provide a white plastic basket in each cottage for recycling. There are large recycling containers in front of the office.
Towels
We don't normally encourage changing over the towels during a one week stay. We will exchange towels once during the week if asked but any more than once will incur a $10 charge.
Our Dog Sadie
She loves people, other dogs she puts up with.
Please try not to feed her too much, the odd cookie is ok but no bones without
consulting Martin or I. She does not share well, so if there is another
pet in the picture please do not feed her.
Beach Toys
We keep most of the Beach Toys under the big tree on the beach. Please return them to their resting place.
Above all we want you to enjoy yourselves, if there is anything you need or anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable please feel free to come and talk to us.
